Wall bracket, ovvero mensole per le elettroniche
Buonasera a tutti,

Io vado "a come vibrano".....

Magari a pettine?

I’m reading this with interest, as I’m also about to change my audio rack.
If type of wood is influential, which is the best?
Also, did I understand correctly that the rack is best be made without screws at all?
Below is a picture of the type of rack I’m looking at, obviously gonna ask the manufacturer to do a metal-less version.

buone cose a tutti.

Per me l'appoggio migliore è sempre tipo tulip....

Hi everyone, I thought I'd share a picture of my new rack - no metal at all, shelves of birch plywood and legs of solid oak, in fact, exactly as Angelo had described before (thank you, Angelo!):
I certainly enjoy how the system sounds now, but the differences would also be due to speaker placement... And, I've also started applying Massimo's new method for speaker coupling, on which I'll have a couple of questions in another thread.
All in all very happy with the rack, the only downside was that, given the floor unfortunately is not perfectly flat, I had to put some felt foot under one leg of the rack so that it would not wobble. If there can be a better way than that please let me know.

@sarahdust
Massimo suggests that there should be no wobbling and no felt. The method to have a perfect fit of the legs to the floor exists, it's slow and requires elbow grease, but it is feasible with a bit of patience: buy some sheets (or rolls) of sandpaper, attach sheets (or stripes) of sandpaper on the floor with double-sided tape under the two higher opposite legs and move the rack back and forth repeatedly. Start with 40 grit (quick and rough) up to 200 grit (slow and smooth), then rotate the rack (or attach the sandpaper under the other two legs) and sand the other two opposite legs. In one hour of work you'll have a perfect fit: Patience patience patience
