Scene problem

Agree with you, by the way I used to read something about the « third dimension » and in my system, despite all the advices followed, that’s not the case …the scene seems « flat »

I don't know what's your system right now, but if you have a full CCI chain (full Grundig or better LT/Grundig) then there must be something wrong in the installation, in speaker positioning or in the listening room. To my ears no other system has so much depth.

This can depend on many factors, even an imbalance between frequencies (for example lack of low range due to speakers that are undersized for the room) can generate this effect. Even an environment in which the first reflections are not considered (mainly the absence of a carpet)

I confirm - thanks Massimo - speakers closer - curtain behind the sofa not behind the speakers - cd support, and so on … always suprised by the way you can improve or not the sound restitution with some little things. After that, you could say « easy easy », but somewhere that’s always difficult to choose the right ways when you’re in front of multiple possibilities…
