Grundig tweeters - 1st generation

Hi! I have question about first generation of soft dome grundig tweeters from 1969-1972.
I belive they were used on box 306A, box 525 etc. By observing the materials used they look similar to those used on Audioprisma series.

Does anyone know if they are close in terms of performance to later series?
They are being sold for dirt cheap locally, and I'm in process of building a open baffle speaker.
Worth giving a shot, or better to avoid?
Thank you.

I already did. Using 15" woofer and 3-4" fullrange.
I tried vifa tc9 and markaudio pluvia. Speaker plays flat from 25hz.
Its a simple design using 18mh iron core inductor for bass, and 6.2uf for tweeter (plus attenuation, notch filters etc).

Vifa offered natural timbre, but had bloated image without focus. Markaudio had excellent imaging, and focus, but sounded coloured. I think my ear prefers soft dome in higher octaves.
To be specific grundig tweeter, but I dont want to destroy any working speaker.

This is in room response with pluvia 7.2hd. There is cone break up around 12khz. I corrected it later with notch filter, but disconnected it because it sounded dull of axis.
Nothing can prepare you for OB bass from 15".. once you hear it its hard to go back. Presentation is just so much different from sealed box.
Grundig creates illusion of recorded event in a space behind speakers. OB gives you feeling that you are in the room with artist.
Since I already collected everything from box 300 to ts1000 I didn't want to end my journey while still in my 20s :)
